that just means you are lacking some options, it doesnt mean the existing fuses are different

No fuse means an incomplete circuit which means no power drain.

Makes no sense to me. Pulling the fuse should cause a CEL for a missing signal rather than whatever is causing the issue to begin with.

Anyone who performs any sort of work on their own car should spend the money and purchase a Bentley manual.

well i keep blowing the fuse in spot number 34 in my car with a 25amp fuse in that spot. Thats the way i got it i thought that was the fuse that was supposed to be in there. Any thoughts on that besides my car is just FUBAR lol

  23. 09-01-2009 11:30 PM #23
If you're blowing a 25A fuse that's normally supposed to require a 10A fuse, I'd say you have a short somewhere.

could #40 (the dual tone horn) be the reason my gti stopped giving out the subtle honk when i lock it? It randomly stopped doing it a few days ago but i can still honk the horn from the steering wheel

the reason your horn doesnt honk is cause your alarm probly isnt setting like if a door is open etc... means one of your microswitches is likely bad...

and the topic is fuse diagram not alarms

The fuse for the alarm horn is one of the two under the dash - S111 or S144 .
