just got my car back together not that long ago.took it to a retarded mechanic to do my clutch 8 stripped bell housing bolts.4 missing engine mount bolts and several large scratches later i was left with a law suit no lawyer would take.

Thats why i do all my work on my cars. Nobody in the area should even be allowed to work on vws from what ive seen shops do. Franks transmissions in coldwater MI are great with vw trannys though
my GLX (not this clean anymore as im in the process of shaving a few things)

my Jti

Ill be back to the Fort in 11 days. After i swap the tranny, ill be drivin my stock white mk3 through the winter so you probably wont see me drivin around in ^those^ a whole lot. I went to a small gtg once and everyones cars were stock with stickers and wheels, so i didnt really bother because i knew those people "werent like me". I often wondered what they talked about. hopefully its changed as ive been out of town for about 2 years now

we already have a group named Strictly German that over the summer has pulled in 15-20 cars (VW-new and old, Audis-new and old, Porsches and an occasional BMW) and have an extensive e-mailing list. IM me if you would like to be added. I have been making stickers for anyone who wants some. I can make more, seen as how I work at a sign shop.
We meet at Vorderman's front lot the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30. We may start back up in January, maybe the second Wednesday due to New Year's and do it at IHOP like we have done in the past during the cold season

Yeah, the Strictly German club is quite a nice and diverse group of people, cars, and great experiences.
I dont own a VW, but an Audi, so we have a nice mix of cars, come on out and join the fun.
I had originally tried to get an Audi group together in Fort Wayne years ago, back in 2003-2004. We had some meets but nothing really solidified.
I was really happy to meet some members of Strictly German and become part of their crew.
Hope to see you out!

the best part about our group is how versatile we are.... all generations of vw, older audi, and a lot more. hell, all the mk1 and 2 things you guys do, the work on the mk3 we've done and my mk4 along with mike's audi, it's almost endless!

other than the honda guys, we're about it that i know of. like mike said above, he's tried to get the audi guys together but hasn't had much luck. the plan this past summer was to get vorderman and o'daniel involved more. both dealers have expressed a lot of enthusiasm towards getting groups together, so our plan was to incorporate both and keep the Strictly German theme, but expand in all directions with help from both dealers.
I think 2008 we should really push that and really try to get interest into a large group of German car enthusiasts, and auto enthusiasts in general, as one of our "members" has an Audi S4, Lotus Elise, and a Cobra rep.
There are quite a few F1, ALMS and Indy Car fans in our group too, so it's not uncommon to bs about racing when we get together. Heck, even plan a get together to watch like the Canadian GP or something.
I think it would be great to get a more precise schedule of meets, drives, etc. That is something we can talk about in the coming months while it's still cold.
I say we meet the second Wednesday of January (the 10th) at IHOP on Washington Center and Lima. That way we can go in and get warm. Anyone else up for that? I'll also send out an email, so if you are not on the list and want to be, send me an IM with your email.

Strictly German here.
32 with family, job, other commitments and cant make it to most meets.
Currently working on a g60 swap into an mk2 jetta, getting another Corrado running, and figuring out what to do with the rest of a passat.
