It'll probably take half the day to get some attention and service, as well. I no longer go there on my lunch break, because I always end up crazy late with nothing to show for it.

There was a set of nearly new KYB struts/shocks and nice set of big bumpers on a mk2 that were left behind? Other than that, nothing too exciting ... picked up some clear markers, rabbit bumpers and interior pieces. The only other things of note were probably the mk4 jetta wagon or the pair of cabbys.

i love this car more everyday.... the GTI cant hold a light to it in my eyes....

i dont care about the trunk lid at all. thats easy....new lid. sucks around the windshield though. that'll be a next fall fix...

Yeah, Im a total packrat, but most of it tends to come in handy for us or our friends at some time. We rarely go up to Harrys, but we were up for something different. I thought it was pretty dull, so we probably wont be back for a while. But I did get some swanky minivan upgrades for my dad, so it was worth it in the end. Ez Pull is my place, thats where Matt and I have our hott saturday morning dates. Much cheaper and much scummier ... more interesting.

BTW ... the GLI is looking very pretty. Whats your plan for the rust around the windshield? we have the same issue in the 91 and are not looking forward to remedying it.

thats exactly why i haven't touched my hatch yet, it doesn't need attention asap like other parts of my car did.

most likely ill be cutting the old sheetmetal out and getting what i need to match what i cut out at the drunk yard or somewhwre else and do some spot welding, grinding, filling, and painting.... what else can you do..... im not looking forward to it at all, but it will def get done

they are 16x6.5 ET42

go with a 205/45/16 or a 205/40/16? or any other suggestions?

i plan on spacing them too like 17MM Rear, 5-10MM Front
