Well ... only reason why i got new caps... is because ONE was faded.... so i have 8 OE BBS RA caps lol

Mine is a 16v, Sunroof w/o Power Recaros... Kinda like it that way... less electrical to worry about

Here's mine stock ride height and all. Come to think of it the only modification was a TT stainless cat back and a audio upgrade. My wife hates the color.

new headliner, clear banana and turn signals, M3 Style Taillights, Possibly Cams, Header, Fuel Enrichment Module .. and some other things.......But first... gotta get it running properly ! PO Said there were no running issues... ... i guess he was oblivous to the Light load Misfire ( fixed ) and the slight hesitation.. which i think i figured out.

I hope to get it out on a road course a couple times this year.... I know i'll most likely be driving it more then my cabby.... I have a feeling the cabby will be blowing up transmissions

Going with a Plaid Headliner... got a crazy pattern sitting here right now. It's Yellow plaid with Blue, Red and A near match to montana green lines

Not sure if i'm just going to get a cam set or do just the intake one. As for headers... no idea lol. When the time comes

Also been looking into EFI kits. Little expensive... but maybe down the road a bit

I was going to do plaid headliner aswell...But I was thinking of getting the fabrics ive seen in some MK1 GTI's...Or possibly some of the seat fabric from the mk5 GTI seats, theyre plaid.

Sorry about your E test man, get a shop write up, and have it signed with a bunch of replacement parts you " had done " even though you didnt. They have to pass you if they see you spent money on it...Atleast thats how it worked with my truck

The seat fabric i would like to use for my headliner...I know i know, MKV...i know If not that fabric then a similar plaid

As for the e-test.... talked to my shop formen who is a wizard with 16vs and he is going to look over the car with me next week. try and figure it out. I think the timing might be out a bit or i'm burning oil ( high HC count ) .
But i forgot to change the oil before i went today... Which may have caused it. I dunno though. This e-test bull**** is stupid

Here's my Montana GTI 16V. Its been my daily for about 3 years and it's been great.

Its really unmodded actually. Its got a K&N drop-in, TT chip, Short shift, weighted shifter,
Autotech higher 5th gear conversion. It is a great car and the only bit lacking on it is actually the
Montana Green paint. It got resprayed completely years and years ago and it's rough in some spots and the hood is fubarred. I've undid all the stuff the previous owner did except strip the paint from the lower half of the bumpers and all the arches.
It's for sale by the way so if anybody wants it let me know. I'm putting together a forsale thread for it should be up soon.
