the weather just finally broke. the g2g started at the worse time of year so i know i'll be way more willing to show up and my krew also.
give it a couple more weeks and turnout will improve.

Went out last friday and to my surprise no one was there...

I figured that with the weather as nice as it was there would have been a pretty good turnout.

Anyone planing on going this week?

?? I was there, I waited from 8:30 til 9 and nobody showed - I was standing in the parking lot with the white Miata above. My friends Dan and Gabby came up in their Cabrio but didn't get there til 9 or so, and since nobody else had showed up we went over to Chili's for dinner.

If anyone ever needs to get in touch with me and see if anything's going on before making the trek out, six one oh - eight five oh - two five five five is my cell number.

I've had the same cell phone since living in Pottstown, PA years and years ago. I'm still out in Collegeville to visit my wife's family every so often.

Hmm...I think we might have gotten there a little after 9, we had to keep waiting on people to meet us.

Are you planning on being out this Friday? I think its supposed to be nice on Friday , then rain on Saturday for Volksfest.

I'll be out Friday, yeah, but in the Miata again. Basically if a GTG is at 8:30, but nobody shows up until 9-9:30, the few people that actually showed up at 8:30 might not be there anymore since nobody showed up

At a GTG like this that's still pretty small, it helps for people that are planning on coming to post up here letting us know that they're coming out and when so we can plan accordingly...if I had known you were coming I would have waited.

But yeah, let's do it this week, whether it's a small group or not I still want to get to know some locals better

Also...if anyone needs a reliable daily driver for under a grand, I'm selling my '84 Jetta w/ pretty much new Bilstein Sports & H&R sports for $850. Doesn't really need anything, but the right rear door is bashed in and it has a reconstructed title. Rock solid daily driver though. The guy who was coming out from Pittsburgh to get it tonight just had the person coming with him back out, so he can't come til next weekend - if anyone wants it, let me know.

guys i would come out but unfortuantly i dont have my license
i got a black 1.8t with a few mods, its all shined up sitting in my garage waiting for be out on the streets again. i dont get my license back until sept 7 so kinda sucks balls.
i was at one of the meets near ALDI's when i first bought my VW
and very since i love my VW
