Might not be the best time, people away on holidays (if they are lucky) or just too full of turkey to roll off the couch .
Going to Autohaus to pick up the MK IV. Just routine stuff, but will be around a grand anyway . And that's without replacing the rear beam rubber bumpers that they recommended. I figure I'll live with the rough ride at that price.

yeah the rear beam bushings are a bitch, and something that you can't really do yourself

Howdy all, Recently bought a 1999 VW Jetta MK3 Wolfsburg. Hopefully I will be able to start doing some basic mods to it in the near future, hope I can hit you guys up for some advice.

By the by, I pulled up to my gf's apartment last night, and what do I see but a IY20th from Minnesota parked out front. Obviously, I parked behind it and took a picture. Made me happy.

i chuckled at it too, nobody understands our pain

and it is clean, although i have some things to do so that it's perfect (finish tune up, re-hang doors, fix broken door handle, claybar and wax). lots of fun to drive. saftetying it this week

edit: the PO didn't take the greatest care, it had the dirtiest air filter i have ever seen but i'm slowly getting it there

to my dismay, it was lowered on springs, the ride is **** LOL.

I'm used to koni's with a 3inch drop on my cavalier, sadly tho, the GTI also wasnt well taken care of, I've got alot of work ahead of me, the AC i think needs to be serviced, the Climatronic needs some work, oilpan needs to be replaced, pass side CV shaft replaced, alignment an a major tune up...

*sigh* she's still on the road, and driving well, the VR6 sure has some kick!

no man i meant if, as in like if you want to. the price is def not high if there is no rust. its got the high compression engine which is at least a little sought after. its a rare car for winnipeg definetly worth it
