Not much during winter... post on the local one, maybe make something for The Yellow Dog...

Otherwise, Advance on Sundays during summers.

Is there any interest in a GTG over the winter? Say a breakfast or lunch and some time to sit around and talk about our favorite subject?

Or what are your thoughts on a GTG? Where and when?

I'd be into a GTG in the winter, I'll post on Ecode and see if anyone else is down.

Well well, there's a break in the weather. Although not warm enough to break out the airboxes... I'd be down for beers while the waterbox is still the main mode of rolling.

I'm looking to do a Techtonics chip and Techtonics 260* but need some help. Anyone down for lending a hand, or are there any decent Euro shops in Winnipeg? Perhaps we can make an event out of this.

Closest VW shop is Fargo, and they want an arm and leg... and they frown on performance modifications.

i'm certain there are enough vw guys here to give you a hand if we're given enough heads up

jason, kegger at your garage? i'm in, but will be bringing my Dakar there and no id so i can drunkenly bike home

It's a 2.0 ABA alright, and I've got the water pump and timing belt, motor has a notch over 51,000 miles on it / 82,000 km. Everything for the install is taunting me every day.

90% of that install is really easy. the other 10% requires willthewheelman and his tiny korean hands

I'm going to wait a couple more weeks and then see how hard it is to drop it again... hopefully the coils aren't too seized.

Summer project: get the winter beater working reliably so I don't have to drive the VW next...
