I picked up a hood latch at bucks auto for $5 a while ago. Not sure about the wiper but they are definetly the cheapest junkyard around.

just bring lots of tools, 10mm wrench and socket, 13mm wrench and socket, phillips screw driver, torx screw drivers. you'll need to remove some trim stuff in the cabin to get the release out of the cabin, take your time and unbolt lots of stuff and you'll get it out.

I did search and didn't find anything, I got it done today though. I guess I should have looked at the whole thing first before I asked, it was pretty self explanatory

Havent posted in awhile fellas. Sad to say that my gti was vandalized due a past relationship. I had no insurance, its currently sitting in my dads shop with a smashed in roof and no windows. Hurts to see, decisions will be made in the next week.

Taking this as a strong reminder to always ensure I'm insured.

I'll take a look to see if there's any 2 door golf parts in the private MK2 junkyard lol door windows from a Jetta should work tho. I think I have a passengers side glass already removed. Is your car big or small door?

Can't help you with G60 Flares, Hard enough coming across standard ones but I can probably score some small bumpers.

by metal parts I'm assuming you mean the chrome trim on the bumpers. Almost unobatinum. People are buying aftermarket chrome trims and fitting them in.

Thanks Sharino, I found another local Vortexer who kindly scanned me yesterday.
P1113 (17521) Oxygen sensor B1 S1, which I guess is my o2 sensor in front of my Cat Converter (not sure how hard that one is to access). And, P0411 (16795) Secondary Air Injection. The check engine light did not come back on during the long drive home, so I will wait before I replace anything.
    Thanks again to Kent

Three people got their mirrors kicked off in the parking lot of my office last weekend.
Had they been folded in, would of not happened.

There you go, justified your mod.
