      Hi guys,

We are proud to finally offer a Vw bluetooth hands free kit. This kit is designed for: Mk V, GTI, Rabbit, Jetta, GLI, EOS, and Passat cars. Installing this kit will allow you to use the “phone” and “volume” buttons on your steering wheel to control the functions of a Voice prompted Bluetooth module made for us by Parrot - the leader in bluetooth integration. It requires no splicing of wires and can be removed without a trace at any time. There are no wires to cut, splice or tap for factory-like bluetooth and with nothing to mount on the dash! The steering wheel phone button does all the work.

Please visit http://www.1stvwparts.com to place your order. If you have any questions please call 888-528-5280 ext 262 or email zfoster@auburnvw.com

No. I believe it just says "incoming call".

What about Dynaudio? Is this the same parrot kit that has been out for a while - looks similar to one shown in previous threads on vortex.

Not sure if it is. We have installed this kit into Passats with out a single problem. I don't think it matters if it's a dynaudio system or not...

I wasn't able to view the movie as I have a mac but i am very interested, where does the microphone go (i am assuming there is one)?

I do have dynaudio and I remember some bugs or issues with other installs so I am a little concerned, Ill have to do some research as to what the issues were. At the end of the day if its bluetooth or dynaudio dynaudio wins hands down.

sorry one more question, I was planning on adding an ipod interface this year, I do not have the glovebox CD changer really just exploring it now. Would this install conflict with the addition of an ipod interface or can they work together?

      thanks

      200K,

May I recommend flip4mac. It is a plug-in for Quicktime that allows you to play .WMV (windows movie files) natively on your mac.

      http://www.flip4mac.com/

BTW, that hands free set looks awesome and I will be interested in it.

      thx,

loving every minute of the imac experience, once in a while you do run into a compatibility bug, it seems natural now that a VW individual would gravitate to a mac

The Bluetooth audio should be routed to the TEL port in the back of your OEM HU instead of using the OEM HU speaker outputs if you have Dynaudio for better signal level matching. This kit should come with the OEM plug to do this; the kit offered by Parrotkits.com comes with it.
