nice setup, could pass as a cop pretty easily

used for emergencies...such as getting home in rush hour, going out to lunch, getting back to your house in time to watch football, right?

As some of you may know, I am a firefighter in Baldwin Co., GA. After working with the department for a year I am legally allowed to put red/white lights and a siren on my car which can be used to respond to emergencies. I made a few videos for whosever's interested. Enjoy!

    You are my freaking hero.

Never underestimate the stopping power of a tree.

I thought you were only allowed to run red lights and not the blue/red wig wag setup used by police.

That's badass. If a cop in MD saw that he would probably club you over the head once pulled over. (Making assumption, unsure of law)

So, what's the "speed limit" when you've got these lights on and are in-route?

  20. 02-07-2008 11:15 PM #20
In NY those lights wouldn't fly

Your local Police dept doesn't mind that you basically look like a police car? And im sure your PD must rip you guys when u use this to get out of traffic and what not, i know i would

i'm pretty sure he has a permit/papers to use these lights. its to get to the firestation faster so he can get out to help those in need. if he's coming for me, i want him to have those lights...

X2 .... we have tons of domestic vehicles here with emergency lights in them...obviously they're trying to get to the fire house or the scene if the lights are on ... now all it needs is a train horn and everybody will get out of your way!

So I am a new member here and have a 2011 A4. I am a NYS EMT and want to install a PA and digital air horn as well as hard wire my emergency lights.

Anyone have any suggestions or installation videos?

    Thanks.
