My father has those transition lenses. One major flaw, they don't darken when inside a car... How stupid is that. If you take them off and lay them on the dash in direct sun they will change.
I'd say stick to regular lenses and get prescription sunglasses.

even when mine darken, they r not nearly as dark as the sunglasses i had before i started wearing glasses.

The only issues I have is when i walk inside its takes a few minutes to change back but as soon as I walk outside they durk dark pretty quick. I guess it all depends on which brand you get.

Also on my first pair that i had, I went back complaining they weren't getting dark enough. The lady told me to put them in the freezer for 5-10 minuets. She said some how it resets its self. I tired it and bammmmm it worked.
Thought i would pass that along.

I had the same ones I think! I had 3 pair in this style frame with the different colors inside/out. Brown (tan)/black, tortoise/blue, and black/black.

My new ones are DKNY, tortoise/white.

(tortoise is the 2-toned brown swirly pattern..)
