my my...look at these fine wiminz! Thinking of treating myself to the Tiffany's frames I've been eyeing (ha ha) for months once Mr. Obama sends me my first time homebuyer's tax credit I've never ordered online before though (but it's way cheaper than Lens Crafters). Does anyone have any positive or negative experience doing this?

Yeah i've ordered online before...the only thing is that when you actually go somewhere they can measure your center of focus to your eyes & face to make sure they fit right. But this lady at my work orders glasses all the time online & they seem to work for her.

it all depends on your face shape and your style. Me personally, I don't like perfect oval shaped glasses cause i have a big round face lol. but i don't like rectangle shapes either.

These just showed up from Optical4less.com... they got held up for a while in customs

I'm stoked they're finally here and pretty pleased with the quality (especially given the price ):

    total sufu pic.

for anyone interested, I got my spectacles from warby parker. All frames come with Rx lenses shipped for $95. Also can try on 5 frames at home, for free. They send them to you, free of charge. Great company. Have had nothing but positive experiences with them. highly, highly recommended.

Wow, I like those. I have a Jaguar 33513-455 (pictured below, but mine are blue) and I have been considering going rimless. That Tag Heuer might just persuade me to do it. I love unobtrusive designs.

  32. 02-23-2011 03:09 PM #172
I found this company recently, they sell some fairly unique frames for $95, and when you buy a pair, they donate a pair to a 3rd world country...
Fashionable, affordable AND socially conscious? yes, please

I came in here to specifically talk about Warby Parkers and someone beat me to it. They're probably going to be my next pair. Right now I wear a pair of 1950's/earl 60's vintage black frames. I'll see if I can dig up a pic to post in here tonight.

Those Tag Heuer glasses are really nice. I think I'm going to go rimless now too.
