  1. 02-04-2008 01:04 AM #1
I just figured out that im moving to waco in a few months (registered at Baylor). Just wondering if there were many people on here from waco and if there are any shops there that focus on us germans.

I live in Waco. Tell you what... look me up when you get here. Just drop me a PM or something. I will show you around some of the fun roads in the area. There is a younger, large import group around here... but not a large showing of VW-Audi-Porsche. I have maybe counted 3 or 4 on the roads in the past year. I even tried looking them up on Vortex to no avail. But, yeah, it will be great to have a another in the area! I have gotten down to Austin once for a cruise.... a great bunch of people down there! We could head on down soon after you get here. Either way.... hit me up

I call BS back at ya, Lets to dis $hit. I will find a suitable weekend for this. Maybe if the entire Austin wants to bring every car they got, I can introduce yall to some REEEEAAAALLLLL country backroads that can be torn up.

That would be sweet Austin-Kileen-FortHood-Waco, and maybe we could drop a line to the Notrh TX folk too... DFW area Abline This could get amazing!

Everyone just post up here. If there is a real interest to meet here in the middle (Waco) I will do my best to organize something.

leperkuan- Just message me anytime, and we can gtg... can get a hold of 03gtiking(Keith) too. I have only met him once, but he is a real good guy.

On a side note, I am starting to see a few more VW folk around here. Any one know a guy with a:

    white Mk5 GTI, or

a T-Red Jetta with yellow fenders and a side exit exhaust, or

a lowered black wolfsburg Jetta in the Woodway area?

ive talked to a guy with a silver mk3 vr6 jetta, a guy with a red mk3 vr6 debadged with aftermarket headlights lives 3 blocks from me, ive seen a black mk3 jetta vr6 debadged with black 17"s, theres a funky green colored golf runing around town with a grenade sticker on the back... i was told there was a turbo mk3 running around town by a friend but im willing to bet hes not from here. i was at a store on valley mills one day and some mk4 golf drove by and revved up his motor.... im seeing the vws we just havent got together!

Did you create that Waco VeeDub site, I have never seen it before?

I think Keith (03tgiking) is off every sunday... maybe we can go for a cruise...... or if something is going on with the Austin crew, we can all cruise down there.

ALSO, you guys ( kieth, leperkuan) want to cruise out to HotWaterBlast in Houston on April 27th?

Hey Guys, thought i'd spreadh the word...

Jesse if you wanna round up the gang for Sunday and do Lime Creek Rd. We can certainly do that. I know that's a drive b/c its Waco to Austin but let me know if you guys are serious about coming, I'll make sure and be free on that day. There are some other roads worthy to take a cruise on since you guys are coming all the way down...

We are only 4 now, but it will grow.
