Gentlemen, I am definatly going south to meet the Austin crew at the Bennigans and then onward..... this Car show is as much about the cruiseing there and back as it is the show.... at least for me it is. So everyone let me know on here so we can quickly set a meeting point and time in each city.

      Good News!
I went in to get the latest recall done, and if you guys didn't know, my cruise has never worked for me. I left after getting the update and the cruise still didn't work, I assumed that it wouldnt.
Sooo, I went back and said "Hey man, my cruise isn't working after that ECM update you guys did" he took the car again for about 10 min. and he comes back and says "Sorry about that man! We forgot to check the box on the tool for the cruise option"
I drove it afterwards and Cruise works like a charm!!
Oh, I also bought that Pops-A-Dent thing to pull out door dings and what not, the thing actually works, so whoever needs a ding pulled i'm your man

    8. 04-20-2008 07:02 AM #108
no i havent heard from keith, I'm not going to be putting another amp in there so im most likely selling my subs. Anything change after the recall??? was your CEL on because of.... popping up with Emissions Workshop everytime you drove??? i still havent done my ECM update for the recall....
I would say GTG sunday but its too soon, and houston is next weekend right?
anybody wanna buy 2 kicker 12"s in a kicker livin loud box?? very loud with the right amp...

agreed although im not big on red mkivs but i like red mkIIIs, my navy blue car gets hot enough so black would be terrible. judging by his front plate he goes to baylor?? and he had a cuban flag hanging from the mirror so i dont know if hes an enthusiast
You know i just thought, What happened to the guy who started this thread?

Dont know what happened to him, but I pm-ed him just now. I mentioned that I finally met the guy with the yellow fenders on a red Jetta MKIV right? He siad it was a cam'ed 2.0, side fire exhaust, the thing sounds amazing. I told him about this thread and Vortex, and gave him my number, but have not heard from him. He said he was looking around for other enthusiasts too, so I dont know whats up with that.

      This weather blows!
