Installed mk3 pedal assembly - some mods required...
Installed mk3 clutch master - some mods required ...
Dropped in motor :-)
Turned out great! Need to make a small bracket for the pedal assembly and figure out where the clutch switch wiring is...

Did very little to the mk2

Put the downpipe in place and a couple nuts on.. vacumn lines.. couple plugs here and there... still need to bolt it down. I was checking out how I am going to mount the mk3 radiator.
Need a clutch slave.. unless I can push this rod back in somehow. I pushed the clutch with the slave out. Big no no I didn't know about.

Replaced two sensors on the Audi and fixed the 337 random honking...
Bare wire rubbing the intercooler piping...

Jesse what did you do with your horns/wiring. Only thing I can think is to zip tie the wires up but that would kink them because they run straight into the piping.

Many years ago, but if I can remember correctly, I believe I relocated the entire horn and wiring to an open bolt hole in the same area but just out of the way. (Think I used zip ties to mount it too ..... it was a painful install)

Clutch slaved.. fixed. Hooked up.
Found brake line drivers front. Hooked up
Wired engine.
Bolted down engine mounts.
Hooked up shifter linkage.
Spliced ignition switch.

Engine turns over now I need fuel!
Need to top off brake fluid and bleed everything.

Ordered from wal mart.
Dunlop somethings... whatever size bbs rc takes. Really good all around tires... check out eBay. I bought some from discount tire warehouse for the gti. Using them again when I finish the mk2 gti. $40 extra dollars gets a road hazard warranty free replacement for blow outs.

Trying to fire up the vr6 today with no luck... no idea yet.
cranks... has power at coil.
Hear throttle body come on.
Had to jump relay for fuel.
No bang assuming fuel is going into engine because I'm high off my ass right now since the exhaust isn't hooked up and I'm in a garage
