hmmm...thats weird, i wonder what all the discrepancies are? either there's something we(you ) don't know, or some of these guys are looking somewhere other than the drivers door jamb for the date.

Saw you started to build the list on the first page, but not sure how you are categorizing them. I am pretty sure all of the ones you have under '89 are actually MY-'90 (Model Year). I know mine is.

Also, here is the other black 1990 that I had and sold. I don't have the prod date, but have to assume that it is:

Maybe someday, I will come across the number for the '90 that I had back in '91

OK, I have two Corrados......I don't have the production dates, but I do have the seq.# both are 90's, so the production date should be in '89

the yellow one is: x/89 008825

it was built in 10/92
was production number 5650 for the "1993" intended model year
(has speedline spec/new style interior and dizzy vr6)
its an early 93.5 interior change car

i was just wondering why do i have a crazy emoticon next to my vin? is it because the number is out of sequence?

because if a car is ordered, with different options, sometimes the factory will shift it to a seperate production line. beyond that, they also manufactured cabriolets there, and the serial numbers are chronological in order, on the same line.

How do you find the production date without the sticker?

I've got 3 now, and there's nothing on any of them that implies a production date. I don't think UK cars got the door pillar sticker, so the only thing we have to go on is the registered date. It's not on the options sticker in the back either.

Any suggestions?

For info my second one is registered 4/90 KK013933, and my third is a Euro import so ?/91 MK013836 (does that imply 92?)

Me and another guy. Both 93's, both with dizzys. Both classic green, both in the same state. He hasn't posted his build date, but I'm assuming its 10/92. Not as close as thouse guys, but still only 41 cars seperated us off the line.
