don't be fooled by hollywood, dueling banjo's is difficult.

On another note, glad I have front wheel drive. This snow and lack of salt is miserable. And I am bout ready to ship out my switches and get the LED's converted to red. They'll go nicely with my new DDI gauges.

Nah you don't need FWD. I was driving my mom's Tacoma and accidentally knocked the transfer case into 2WD. The ass end backs out if you give it any power but with brand new tires (Albeit they were all-seasons) I didn't get stuck once. 4WD is a whole new beast though, I couldn't break the tires loose in 2nd but that might be because it's a 4 cylinder pickup.

man i picked up a 4x4 silverado for the winter rig and i have an all new outlook on fourwheel drive! now i wish for 4' snow drifts and mud!
plus my whip gets to sit in the garage all winter untouched by the salt.

Couple inches is fine. Lets me sling the bike around the yard sideways. I think the neighbors hate me.

Glad to see that I leave for the weekend and the snow that made the trip out so difficult is completely gone now!

Did someone say they have a warm garage to possibly do work in? I might need some help changing motor mounts soon...

Hey guys. I'm in Champaign and have an '03 GTI. I don't know how much longer I will have it, but I do for now.

Also...... does anyone in the area have a REVO SPS?? I am having trans problems and need to take it in again and figured I would just kick it to stock mode. If you could PM me that would be great.

    Thanks
    Dan

    You got snow??

Chalm - I may need to take advantage of your propane heater soon. I need to figure out this vibration and that mean new axle time!

I guess I should have looked outside first. We had a light frosting over night, but after I got to work, there were like 40mph winds out of the north and about 1.5" of accumulation.

Chalm - I'll let you know, it'll probably be in a week or two, depending on work.

I'm Matthew by the way. Sorry, but I don't referring to people by their sn's. We're all friends here, might as well know each other.

That's cool. My name is Nate. I believe we met at a Target parking lot in Normal? I'm currently in Graduate school, work full-time, and am finishing my basement, so I might need a bit of notice. Currently, my garage is a mess and I need to clean it up. Gear oil, coolant, and tools are everywhere.

bloomington here. i have a green mk4 jetta, but its slow and all stock right now. hoping to get springs/wheels sometime in the near future, or possibly selling it and getting a b5 passat (still trying to talk the mrs. into it). but for now im just happy to have it back on the road. my wife usually drives the jetta to work, so you could spy me in one of these around town......

and the money shot that gives me inspiration for my benz.....

......and my buddy's cars. theyve both moved out of town again
