    I just installed another set of R32 bushings this past weekend. Poly bushings usually end up squeaking at some point. My first set of R32 bushings only lasted about 3 yrs / 40k miles before they came apart. I'm hoping the second set lasts a bit longer, since the original bushings at least lasted 100k miles.

    I have heard of squeking, but others say it isn't so....hard to say which i will end up with at this point, i have a mystery clunk and that is where i think it is coming from. PLus i kick the front of my tire and it moves backwards which i hear is a sign of bad one, alsways something.

    I still have a clunk somewhere in my front suspension too. I just replaced all LCA bushings, strut bushings, sway bar bushings and ball joints. Pretty much anything that moved, and it still clunks when the suspension hits a bump. Ride quality still seems to be okay, so I don't think it is a blown strut and you can't hear the noise in the cabin (only with the windows down).

    If your tire moves that much, it does sound like a bad bushing. You can tell just by looking at it if is is torn.

    when I did the gti I used the tt/r32 bushings & really like them, can't go wrong with oem+

    I have this same thing on my jetta... my car is in downs now get the ac fixed.. he said he would look at it while on the lift..

    I had this on my cheap but reliable VMaxx suspension and decided to buy replacement strut for $99 rather than a new more $$ suspension. I found upon replacement that inside the strut, the piston cap had just become loose and was making all the noise. A couple turns and it was good as new.
