Your insurance carrier should already be subrogating damages against the rental companies insurance. Let me know who your agent is and I can make things happen. Haha

i have it now. took longer because there were 3 cars involved and copies needed to be made. so the truck has 14k in damages and won't be done till atleast nov 8th. it's a fun weekend. we litteraly have no cars to drive except my work truck. the wifes badly needs a new wheel bearing so thats off the road until the parts come in on monday. good weekend to work on the garage i guess

Everyone, this is a good time to check with your Insurance agent that "if" this unfourtunate circumstance comes about for your auto, wil those modifications be coverered fully that you paid so much for? and make sure you have the proper endorsements like underinsured/uninsured driver, Rental car coverage, Emergency roadside, and Comprehensive with a deductible you can live with paying out in the event of a wreck.

Call a local State farm agent if you have questions, my future self as a SF employee would appreciate it. :-)

It is all a game of "ifs" and "whens". Same as choosig your deductible, it is what you are comfortable with you would be speaking a different story if this happened earlier. You never know when some moron will sideswipe your car, ask me how i know.

Hi all. I might be moving to Springfield, IL. I am a bit of a VW enthusiast. I have a 1990 MKII GOLF that I personaly performed a 5SPD VR6 swap on about 5 years ago. I have worked in VW dealers as a tech for a combined total of 4.5 years. Recently I acquired my VW 2012 certification. I'm looking to move to Springfield since my daughter lives in Quincy. I'm interested in knowing if there is any VW enthusiasts that are into the older MK2, MKII and even MKIII chassis VWS in Springfield. Also, can anyone that lives there tell me what the driving force behind Springfield is and how the quality of life is out there? I'd probably be moving during the beginning of December. I'm driving out there tomorrow for my final interview.

I know nothing about the scene down there, but my brother-n-law likes living there. There are a ton of recreational activites and they have a lot of good places to eat. Sorry I can't be of more help to you. Good luck with everything.
