      The new picture that you posted has Yellow bulbs as the FTP lights.
      The sun is reflecting on the bulbs in the picture.
      You will find that High Beams and Fogs is probably not a viable option*, in regards to coding, and practical driving scenarios.

      Go back the the PDF and check BYTE 17, BIT 4, and see what it gives you.
      Using a Euro Switch with the Parking Light setting helps in all of this.

      * you can do High Beam with Fogs, using BYTE 17, BIT 5, but the High Beam will be your Bi-Xenon High Beam

      Tim,

      You say I can use BYTE 17, BIT 5 and when I turn my fogs on my high beams will be on? I already have the euro switch. i did, and the high beam don't stay on I will try one more time.Is that the right picture?

      Thank you.

      Fogs on, Lights on, Operate High Beams.... and they don't stay on?

      GTI/GLI the inner Halogen Lights are not High Beams, they are Flash to Pass lights.
      Go up to my previous note, High Beams and Fog Lights are self cancelling when Fog Lights are actually needed, as in driving in fog.
      So can you get the fogs to light up with the headlights? Yes.
      Can you get the Fogs to light up with the High Beams? No, but a qualified no.
      Search the MV Forum, and you will find reports of the 6 Light salute, and how to do it.
      Not recommended, because of safety/liability issues.

      Hey guys, one more thing that is interesting. I did the exact same thing with the parking lights but I did it differently and it turned out to be a bit difference too. So here is how I did it.
      Went into 17. instruments

      -> changed original coding setting "3" (i am in Canada) to "1" (which is the EUROPE setting code)

      then i went back to 09. Central Electronics

      -> Long Code
      -> Long Code Helper
      -> checked off Front/Rear Parking Light Inactive (US/Canada)

      Then my parking lights worked very well.

      The difference with this method of doing it is the following...

      1. without lowbeams on (meaning the xenons) when you flash only the halogen flashes (so just like what the car does normally)

      BTW I HAVE THE EUROPEAN LIGHT SWITCH INSTALLED

      2. here is the good bits... when i turn on the citylights with just the fogs on, when i flash people the halogen comes on to flash, but the fogs will NOT turn off. So is fogs on while flashing!

      3. then when i turn on the low beams and flash/turn on high beams the inner halogen comes on with the bi-xenon.

      4. then when i turn on the fogs together with the lowbeams, and i try flashing/turning on the highbeams the fogs stays on throughout while flashing or highbeams ON. So is fogs on all the time while flashing/highbeams ON!
