does anybody gotta dyno sheet for a stock mk3 12valve vr6? im building an 80's model 300zx turbo just so i can sell it and get me a vr6 jetta with a 5 speed. i just gotta go get the thing now lol

there are 2 r32s running around tuscaloosa. a black one and a silver one. pretty sweet. has anyone else heard the bad news with the r32s? they ONLY come with DSG trannies this year!? VW salesman told me so, he hated it too, but there trying to sell me one. im not quite that financially set right now lol, maybe after i graduate or win a whole lotta money, or marry an extremely hot sex craved supermodel with lots of money. yeah that would be cewl ?!

I hope your not looking to buy from Quality. I did see an R32 in their parking lot when I went to pick up a new set of windshield wipers though. definitely hot.

why, i like quality, its like my second home man. granted they can be pricey as hell though. i may go to mitchells sometime. hes got some newer VW's and he has awhole lot of older aircooleds. i may go trade my 300z in for one of his VR6 jettas

Seen alot of modded Vw's around my area latley just never can get to them when i see them ha Seen a couple of mk5's, 2 or 3 mk4 jetta's, a silver r32, and a platnium gray mk4 gti.

there are alot of vw's here where im at. most of them stock, of course our vw dealership doesnt hurt that figure. there are a few modded dubbs around here, mk4 gti, a few mk3 jettas, a couple of r32s...

Anybody coming down to EuroTreffen??

The 2nd annual event will be held:
Friday Night April 25th, 2008 at Bradenton Motorsports Park drag strip in Bradenton, FL from 6pm - Midnight!

This first annual Euro Treffen is a gathering of fellow European enthusiasts for not only local enthusiasts but for all those willing to make the trek down to sunny and warm Florida. The show is not only a GTG but also a track event where anyone can make runs down the drag strip for an additional fee. The GTG portion of the show will have room for 1000+ cars to be displayed. The drag strip will be available from 6pm - 11pm for as many runs as you want to get in!!

We are currently expecting 500+ cars and hope that this number may reach 600+. The show will be held at a familiar location for those of you who frequent the only 1/4 mile drag strip in the Gulf Coast area, Bradenton Motorsports Park.

The price of the event is $13 admission for each person. (Children 11 and under are FREE)

Drag racing tech cards are only $10 more to race ALL night long.

Event T-shirts will be on sale so have cash on hand.

Event T-shirts will be available BEFORE the event. Keep an eye on this site for the final design and ordering information.

Head to Head Races @ TBA

Campers are Welcome to stay overnight at the drag strip grounds. However you must be up and gone by 8am.

Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash.

hahah Ft. Rucker huh? I was born there.. Lister Army Hosptial, and went to the majority of junior high and highschool years in Enterprise...

I was the lone dubber for like 2 years. i moved in '04... good to see there are some VW heads still in that area.

Anyhow, Southern Worthersee is approaching fast, hope to see everyone there!

hell i was born in baltimore md, the focal point on the east coast for modded dubbs. its home to EIPTUNING. Ironically a girl that lived over there said that baltimore has taken over patuxant river estates where i lived for my first 3 mos of life, and the tiny ass clinic/hospital is now the eiptuning site lol. not sure if thats true or not though. i USED to hate vw with a passion, funny thing is the first time i raced one on the street i was in my old modded sierra 1500 (massive weight reduction, head tuning, higher compression, vortec valves with z28 valve springs, 64cc chambers with 2.02 exh and 1.96 intake. ported polished heads intake, roller 292 cam, chipped, and a ported throttle body) and i ran against an r32 golf. when my buddy chris told me it was an R43 Golf and it was a vw i was pissed b/c i saw it as a disgrace against the GTR R32, but as you could expect, i got pwned pretty bad. Afterwards i became a "closet" vw lover. told ppl i hated them b/c they did, until i bought my jetta mk3 8valver. I sold my old truck as it ate trannys up left and right. went through 7 trannys, 5 autos and 2 manuals.........

I'm sure people still chill in the Winn-Dixie parking lot.. that was always a big rice boy hang out. When i was there i didn't really chill with any of the guys that were into imports, other than my friend Sean. He goes to Auburn.. but i'm sure he's around Etown in the summer.
