Justin, I wouldn't want you to have that car mainly because you would die. That is all. Plus if we thought Corey's car was bad...

    Slow thread again?

Well i put the rear spacers on and love them! The fronts didn't look like they allowed the wheel to be centered on the hub. Maybe it's just me... so I took it back off. Didn't want to risk damaging an RC or worse. The spacers kinda make my car look higher than before which sucks because I refuse to slam my DD. Its bad enough as it is. Still need to get back to the 'ham and get a guy I know to connect my DP to the rest of the exhaust still. Trying to get all the installs done and then give it a good cleaning. Looks like hell now! Especially the inside

    Progress!

What exactly is up with the spacer? You aren't the only one around here having weird spacer issues lately. It's because OEM and aftermarket wheels are a little different and because of how the slim spacers for the front have to be designed. Exactly what spacers did you buy for the front?

The fronts aren't wheel centric like the rears are... That being said I never had any issus with them on the RCs or Miros. But, you might have to play with them a little. The first time I put them on I noticed a little vibration but I just losend the bolts and torqued them back down and it took care of it

    Anyway.

I can stomach it if it was pulled from a scrap yard and built that way. If someone just let a perfectly fine FD rust I might kill them.

Too bad it's not a real clear hood. That would be oddly cool. I'm sure it's been done, though.

The folk over at Fast Car Magazine just sent us some images of this eyebrow-raising RX-7 built by Dragon Performance. Ross Juniper, the owner of Dragon Performance, originally purchased this RX-7 with the intention to tear it down for spares. But a twitchy right foot instead saw it turned into a drift weapon.

Dragon Performance is a UK-based rotary tuner and are most famous for their matte black RX-7 which ran 9.1sec @ 158mph. For this FD they've used a 13B twin rotor with a Turbonetics T62 turbo.

Not long after the rebuild had been completed, the FD suffered a nasty crash at the twisty Castle Combe Circuit. The RX-7 was left with a deep gash along the rear arch, leaving Ross with a very second hand looking drift car and while attending the Run to the Sun event in Newquay, fate introduced Ross to the infamous 'rat look' styling craze and the rest as they say is history. Beneath the stickers and rust is an RE-Amemiya carbon bonnet, Abflug front bar, Veilside skirts and plenty of drift damage.

With no dashboard this certainly isn't the tidiest of interiors, but at least it's functional with Bride seats, Sabelt harness, hydraulic handbrake and extinguisher.

So I had my oil changed the other day and I'm just now over the 60k mi mark and was thinking about doing an "engine cleanup". Aside from the occasional fuel injector cleaner, I've yet to do something here. I know many people have used sea foam as a solution here, but I was informed that that was a bad idea given the turbo. So... any ideas?

No choice really. I cracked the oil pan on my B7 A4 and it ended up getting totaled out. I had a 00' vr6 before that so I'm not gonna buy anything else and I couldn't afford a new A4. The Mk6 isn't as bad as I thought it would be though..for a 5cyl its actually pretty throaty and accelerations not bad. I got every option available so that helps also.

Add intake, header, exhaust, and a tune to the 5cylinder and it will put a smile on your face everytime you drive the car. Ask me how I know lol.

Well since you ask, how do you know? I had a techtonics catback, cold-air, and tuning on my vr6 and that thing was quick. I can't wait to start with the mods once the parts actually come out but exhaust is the only thing I can do without voiding the warranty..Intake is a must though so I'll probably just switch out whenever I have to take it in for maint.

A CAI is only good for sucking up water and destroying motors. If I were you, save your money on a CAI and either swiss cheese your air box or buy a Carbonio intake. All a CAI does or any intake really is gove you the sound you want. I had a Carbonio on my MKV jetta and honestly couldn't tell a difference, other than it looked great.
