Feeler: An Atl, Jax, Gainesville, Valdosta, event inside.....

I'm just getting a feel for an event i'm thinking about planning.
Anyway it would take place over a weekend, (just Saturday and Sunday), down in Cecil (about 20 mins from valdosta) at the South Georgia Motorsports Park. On Saturday, Drag Racing at one of the best 1/4 mile tracks in Georgia, Saturday night, of course party. Sunday Autocross at the same location.

I was planning it out for Valdosta because that pretty much a central location between ATL, Jax, Gainesville, Tallahasse.

Anyway, what yall think?

I'm down for hangin' and watching. If we can all fine a cheap hotel and cram as many as can fit.

Would you be involving the Aircooled Crowd as well?
Our group did a full event there a couple of years ago, but we couldn't continue due to the price of the track. Might be different now with a new owner.

i'm tryin to juggle the dates around the next couple auto-x events that dixie scca runs. And with that event i'm gonna try and set it up so it will be a test and tune night, rather than renting the whole track to keep the costs down.

All vdubs can come, air, water, dont matter.

I'm tryin to get everyone within a 3 hour radius to come. If I get enough interest, we will set up a host hotel and block off a good part of the hotel for us at a discounted rate

Good luck. I would be willing to help and make sure it is out to the aircooled crowd as well.
As long as it doesn't fall on one of our Drag Race Show dates, I should be there. Besides I only live 7 miles from the track!
