    After one week of ownership it was killing me to see that square plate bracket thing on my car Don't mind the filthy car because she hasn't had her first wash yet.

    i was completely unaware of the grill replacement program until it was long over. i bought mine in sept. '07. lazy sales rep should've called or emailed or something.

    i am growing tired of the ss .:R32 plate up front too. probably going to do the custom german euro plate up front. one for day-to-day and one specifically for WiTW.

    Replaced my front bumper / grill this week with a new unit - no plate holder. Easy swap and makes a big difference in the appearance. My state requires a front plate, but I've been driving 3 other cars for several years - none of them have a front plate - no problems! Knock on wood!
    My new vanity plates are on the way. FUN X R32. I'll probably just carry the unused front plate in the trunk or under the front seat - just in case.
