What did you do to your MkV today?

I Converted all of my interior lighting to white LEDs and added forward footwell lighting.

The work I did today was definitely an "illuminating" experience.

I learned that the license plate light bulbs are also part of the monitoring system that tells you when a bulb is burnt out...the LED festoon bulbs that I bought triggered that warning light when they were installed...oh well.

All of the Exterior bulbs are. You'll need the error free LED's

they come off the same sensing section as the city lights so if you have error cancelling LEDS in there it will always have a draw and think everything is good.

I took mine out completely and never got a bulb out warning. Fog light, city light and tail light bulbs all did though.

Washed it and hit a local car show. Left early wishing I had bought FK's or some other coils that went lower....

had new tires put on. Yokohama YK580s. The first 15 miles have been good. Quieter than the old Michelins, and tons more grip off the line.

The Michelins were H rated, and actually fairly good on corners, but just dog crap off the line. And I am just Stage 1.

The new tires are W rated, and even better in the corners.

Replaced the subframe bolts on the GLI and R32 with the Audi bolts.

Also got the R32 junction box hooked up and working in the GLI.
