Import is the best. I currently have 112 import stickers on my tool box. True story.

Took it in for the TSI intake manifold (P2015). 5 hours later, car is 'done.' I stop for a snack on the way home and notice a hot smell. Pop the hood and find a hose clamp under the TB was never tightened. Drove back, the tech apologized and corrected it. The car seemed a little off, and that was it. They warranty the new manifold for 1yr/12,000 miles... I just hope it lasts longer than the first one at 49k.

Today, I installed a DVD receiver with a 6" touchscreen in my GLI. I ordered it from Crutchfield.com. The kit that they supply made the job very easy. Just needed to crimp some wires together, and I was good to go.

Also, I ordered new subframe bolts, and the spacer kit from ECS. I believe my car is suffering from the famous 'subframe clunk' noises. I hear a thump/clunk when braking hard, and taking off from a stop. Upon crawling under the car, I was able to see that the subframe has shifted a few centimeters from it's original spot, by the scraping marks in the metal.

I'll be doing an oil change tomorrow morning

Drove about and hour to Panama City Beach pick up some wheels to finally replace my stock Rabbit 16's. Moda MD11 17x8 with decent tires for $120.

Great seller who decided to go back to 16's so he could run a beefier tire on his MK5 Jetta.

Also ordered new strut mounts and axle bolts for my suspension install next week. Koni STR.T's will be here Tuesday to go with my Eibach Sportlines. So excited.

Oh and the other day at one of the stops I had, parked under a shade tree, came out and saw a good photo opportunity. So I snapped a pic!

Thanks buddy. You're Ravindub from Panhandle Dubs right? I made a profile on here when I got my Rabbit last year. Can't wait to get on this stuff installed. Still need to find a legit body shop to paint my Thunderbunny sideskirts and Votex rear. You know anybody good around here?

Same here man. I've missed like the last three or four times I have seen them in my area for cheap, so I told myself I wasn't going to let the next set slip through my fingers.
