When i was in NYC, i was eating at a restaurant with my friend when Bill Murray passed by, took a french fry from our basket, dipped it in ketchup, ate it and said:"No ones ever going to believe you" before walking out.

It looks cool, but I think it might be kind of uncomfortable after a while!

I can speak (as a dealer) touch up paint is a tough item to stock. There are too many colors to have them all and in spray and stick form. Forget about it.

Just checking here, curious if anyone in the Lehigh Valley area has a VAG-COM that is possible to borrow next week? Willing to throw you some cash as well, just looking to install my water/meth and would like to dial it in properly. Going to be purchasing my own cable soon, just didn't think about getting one yet.

I figured, I'll just order it online. They did have some, but in some of the more obscure colors (wheat beige? )

Same here, being air is something like 86% nitrogen. The reason we use nitrogen in aircraft tires and components is because nitrogen doesn't have water in it...water at altitude freezes, and it doesn't have the time to thaw out before the jet touches down.

Nitrogen changes temp just as much as "regular" air.

Honestly, www.paintscratch.com is a better choice. I have used OEM spray paint and Paint Scratch spray paint and the PS paint matched 100%. OEM spray paint is lighter than what you're trying to match.

Also, you get more from PS as well.

i've ordered plenty of paint from vw dealers, it takes about 2-3 times as long to ship paint in than it does a regular part that would be ordered.

The Jetta grill slats do not look right with the honeycomb.... You should do either full Jetta or full GLI setup, not a mix... That's my opinion though....

On a side note, I haven't seen an updates on your sub box install, how's that coming?

Yup, still have to replace the speed sensor/brake wear sensor harness since it ripped the pins out of the bracket when I did my coilovers
