thats kinda low for your mod list

you should be closer to 230hp and 270tq

but then again it is a mustang those dynes are heart breakers for sure

Agreed. That's very low. I was at 241 whp on a DynoJet.

That's exactly what I thought. Also a few of the guys said the same thing about it being a mustang Dyno that they read low and disappoint a lot of people. Doug (the owner) said weather conditions play apart too and being out here the weather is so iffy that it screws numbers up. I dynoed at about 530 in the evening and the sun was baring right in on the car and in my eyes. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but who knows. Maybe once I get to the east coast, I can throw it up on the Dyno and see how well it does. 2 of the guys there said when they were with APR stage 2 their numbers were the same. I was disappointed though mainly because I was sold on it saying 250 easily, claims of people getting 240-250 and the site saying 270. Well as you can see my numbers are no where near. So spending 700 on a tune and staying around stock hp is rather nerve raking... . Maybe there is something wrong that I'm missing and no lights are telling me.... Any ideas?

I was 268 hp at the crank on a DynoJet. My modifications can be seen HERE. Only difference between now and when I dyno-ed, is the BSH PCV revamp.

Maybe I should look towards unitronic... Can't afford it right now, but definitely looks like a way to go. When I got my tune, unitronic wasn't available in Vegas (to my knowledge) and when I got to wustefest to do the tune, that was when I noticed unitronic had a booth. I had already paid for apr though so I didn't think much about it and went apr. those ae some impressive numbers for sure and been following your build thread for quite some time. You and your car give me inspiration!

^ Did you clear the vinyl? Not usually recommended, but since it's ebay material, you might be better off clearing it. After 4-5 years, depending on your weather conditions, the clear will start to peel... but you might have to redo it sooner if the vinyl material is crappy.

      Man,

Mustang Dynos are hard on the numbers! The important thing is you feel the improvement vs Stock, and if the car drives better with it! IMO

the numbers given by VW are to the Crank, and to the wheels you get a great loose! So the 198 HP given by VW would drop pretty bad as well when you dyne it!

Oh it DEFINITELY does better than stock! Oh the difference is unbelievable... So that I'm happy with. I found there is a place in North Las Vegas that has a dynojet, I'm going to try and get up there this weekend and get it dynoed, see what it does...

But I got my result papers and I was expecting more but I'm okay with what I got. Looks like some more tweaking is needed and for some reason I'm running very rich.

      My runs are 210hp @ 5802 rpms / 94.7mph in 4th gear.
      torque was 246.8 @ 2922 rpm / 48.1 rpm
A few questions... I'm curious as to why your numbers are a bit low.

      What's your peak boost pressure?
Do you have a any 1/4 mile ET/ MPH numbers from before your tune?
Did you do a run in stock mode and in 91/93 mode to compare?
What type of gas did you have in your tank at the time?
