before anyone says this to you, let me explain. Mexi poke is not a racial slur, it is a set of words describing that exact look of fitment. just saying this bc ive seen people flip out on the MK2 and MK5 pages when someone brings that up.
When i was in NYC, i was eating at a restaurant with my friend when Bill Murray passed by, took a french fry from our basket, dipped it in ketchup, ate it and said:"No ones ever going to believe you" before walking out.

LOL. just like how mexicans say that "Gringo" isnt derogatory, its just a word to describe white people.

i kinda like the fitment and color, not crazy about the spoke pattern, but overall looks pretty good... and i've seen a lot more "mexipokey" setups than that. IMO I would get a little smaller tires with a hint of stretch and it will look better, too. what size tires are on it now?

Drove it to the garage to fix my MK4's steering rack. Wasn't as bad as I expected. Found Poly bushings in the subframe while I had it dropped.

215? Is that having the tires stretched?

Yeah, that will be a decent stretch on a 9" wheel

?? Can you clairify that? I was referring to the top of the housing. Where I had the tape was holding the piece in place while it setup. If that's what you were referring to.

Got my DDM D2S's in last week. They fit fine, but installing them was a bit of a pain.

Driving home from Chick-Fil-A and some little ****** kid hit my car with an egg. Opened a comprehensive claim and now the drivers side rear quarter panel will have to be repainted.

I think it was for the '08.5 that they made the changes. Came with the TSI engine.

Oooo you swapped the grille , when you said top to bottom I thought you meant the city lights. Was interested in how hard that was to do, but I do like the wolfie grille

The city lights are really easy. Just the drivers side can be a pain, but when you do it a few times you get used to it and it takes under 5 min.
