i need some advice! I'm looking to buy my first set of wheels, but i can't decide.. looking to spend around $1,500 for wheels and tires total.

was looking into privat legende's, but im not sure how they ill look with my current ride height.. .which is basically 2in lower than stock... if that. car came with eibach springs so i really dont know.

so what are some cool wheels for not so slammed mkv's?

here's my crappy attempt at photoshopping them on my car lol

Powerwasher. As close as you can to the glass. Bird poopy wont scratch that windsheild unless the bird ate rocks.

Changed oil, on my own, no help, on Saturday. No I'm no a girl, or a teenager, normally I'm at work and would leave car at home and have my dad or my brother do it. This was my first, own, oil change, without any help.

what wheels are you on now? stock 17's or 18's? also, what's your current fender-to-ground measuremnt. i'm on h&r supersport springs and mine was 24.5 on stock 17's before i got my 18's, and now they look alright but i could go lower.

psshhhh by the time i buy everything the dealership is the same price its easier to just have them do it at that point rather than having to dispose of the oil and all that

now if i had a place to do it thats a different story

only my 2nd oil change in the MK5 (in 16k miles); I'll be doing it more often though, I didn't like what I saw (nothing horible)

not first time I changed oil, but normally someone would be around and there were other things done, so I'd get help

also there are local guys who look for used oil for whatever reason, so no biggie with disposing; my uncle has a shop furnace that runs on used oil

I ordered ECS kit, not worried, makes me fell better when I get my hands dirty like this, think of it as therapy

      @ Farenheit, looks awesome dude

Replica wheels are like fake boobs. They look good on the outside, but when it comes to quality, Nothing beats the real thing.
