have you thought of Auto Dogz in Audobon about 20 mins outside of Philly. Are you doing the whole car in 35 or the back half. Might I suggest you do a seamless back window. if you do a 35 char. your looking at about 25 a window and 75 for the back window. Im me if you are interested.

its 35 Charcoal. yea its a seamless back window. no lines. its actually two pieces with the seam hidden in the defroster line. looks good I have it on my 97 Jetta GT. Are you asking what brand of tint?? It Lumar, not a bad film at least its not Pep Boys. We have everything from 5% (limo) to 50% in smoke and charcoal. I think charcoal looks more factory and it doesnt turn purple like the smoke does.my two cents.

i heard llumar is a pretty good brand. is charcoal the usual that you see around town? dont really know the diff between charcoal and smoke. so im lookin at $175 all around? what kind of warranty does this have...for installation and the film itself?
#8
Im going to Tinting by car pretty, or pretty car, cant rememberat grant and bustleton in NE phila. I'll let you know how well they do if you want and how the 1 piece back looks. (It's actually one piece!!!) 180$ all together and the film is computer cut.

I'll second sunsational. At a detail shop i worked at we contracted out the tinting to them. Windows always turned out great.

the warrenty we offer is lifetime! The difference is the hue. smoke has more of a purple flavor to it. Charcoal has more of a factory look.

do you know what kind of tint they use? what price did they give you? was it a one piece back?

FWIW, i've seen a bunch of back windows where it wasn't one piece from sunsational and you can't see any seams.

I wouldn't go to Auto dawgs. They do ****ty work. I'd go w/ solar concepts, you can get a 10 times better job than auto dawgs for the same price. The seemless rear window is 160ish for a jetta all rear windows and I can get the same option at solar concepts for 130. Golfs will be a little less since they consider a jetta to have five rear windows and a 2 door to have three rear windows. If you do go to Auto dawgs have Don do the work. That way you can always bitch at him at the GTGs.
