Lifted it up, to remove the fender liners. found half a tree in the jams behind the wheel wells.

Patched the floor with lots of HD adhesive and screws. I just need it to last a couple of years until I scrap it.

That's always fun. Right after I bought mine, I noticed there were fire ants everywhere. You know.. those ones that make a mound in your yard... Took me like a week to figure out they nested in the composted leaves behind the fender liners. PO must have used a can of RAID in the vents per day, because it took two years to get rid of the RAID smell anytime you used any heat at all.

Now I pull my liners every few months just to make sure they're not clogged.
We need a series like this state-side. I'm in if there is one, or will be one. VW Cup 2015, anyone?

Maybe you guys are tired of hearing it but I picked up my ABT's. God they are mint kids!!! Not a scratch on em!! Im in love!!! Just need a mid hatch wing, duals, and a Reiger lip and I will be happy. Now it's time to hunt down some rubber for both sets of rimz!!!

She keeps tellin me you should sell that POS everyday. And then I consider the alternative. A quiet, boring, lil eco box. And then when im on the on ramp to the highway I punch it and wind out 3rd gear and hear that intake and the exhaust together in perfect harmony as it rips a humongous hole in the ozone layer and causes the spontaneous explosions of tree huggers faces . I my VR6!!!

Ordered a Euro VR lip, shipped today

Jacked it up (5th day in a row) this time to clean the snot out of the wheels, and while it was up, I dropped the back all the way down, and the front another 3/4 of an inch. waiting to locate a fender roller so i can put some spacers up front and drop that down more.

After a few days of errands and driving around with my re-seated PCV tube, it appears to not be leaking oil at all, and low RPM load (under 2k) seems to be much smoother, and I have that nice sound above 5k again.

Slightly unrelated question though.. I used to be able to bark 2nd but now there's just the heavy jolt without a bark. Could that be because the front motor mount has some play in it?

Tinted it (never had tint before), then washed it. Wishing the outer body was in better condition (paint wise, hood/roof/trunk lid are all faded bad). I just cant see myself spending the money to get it repainted.

Past month- coilovers and tint. She's on her was.

Watched a movie called "Perfect Sense" just because Eva Green was in it.

Boobs, and a really clean euro 4 door GTI throughout.

Just a heads up that you need to cut/dremel everything out around that hole in the gauge panel for a gauge to fit. Trace with black sharpie and then remove panel and cut.

Tint looks good. I had a hell of a time tucking in the bottom on the front windows. I'm going to remove the rear windows to do them.

What the hell. I thought one of my 1 week old Rokkors broke. Turns out the rear control arm mount bolt fell out. Phew! Got a new one and going to take her for a drive like a G6.

sent from my garage while I wait for my loctite to set
