    Poor grinder.

My car is now running great in sequential injection. Got my crank trigger issues straightened out.

Good thing, this dude at my family's shop has a newly minted 300whp eg coupe, and he needs his feelings hurt pretty badly.

I assessed some similar rocker rust yesterday, mine's all underneath though. Ordered some klokker panels, but that's probably gonna be a project for this winter. In good news, got a couple of boxes of suspension and steering maintenance parts and coils from WRD.

Just two more finals and it's time to do work!
    Don't get nervous.

Rounded the head on a Vr6 crank pulley when the socket cracked.

I hate those damn 27mm crank bolts that are tightened by the hands of Zeus himself so damn much.

Time to weld a big axle nut to it.

I had to argue with the insurance company about the total loss value of my Jetta due to my stupid coworker. They wanted to give me $1400 for the car, but I managed to get $1800.

Now I have to fix this pos.

Installed new controll arms, replaced all front end bushings (suspension), new tie rod ends, replaced wheel bearings... Ready to get that much needed alignment.

Sucks. Two years ago I had to argue as well. They wanted to give me 3 grand and ended up giving me 13 grand. Keep all your receipts .

I saw a while ago a thread about removing the dust covers from the motor mounts when installing bfi mounts because some people have bad vibes and mount slop. That was me and was totally pissed that I bought the mounts then paid to ship them all way here to Europe and it was still feeling like I was still riding on that Swiss ish!! So I was drinking and I did the passenger side mount. Big improvement!! But I was too drunk by that time to fix the front mount and test drive it so I decided I would polish the lip on the last wheel.

She keeps tellin me you should sell that POS everyday. And then I consider the alternative. A quiet, boring, lil eco box. And then when im on the on ramp to the highway I punch it and wind out 3rd gear and hear that intake and the exhaust together in perfect harmony as it rips a humongous hole in the ozone layer and causes the spontaneous explosions of tree huggers faces . I my VR6!!!

Strap that rack and cargo to the car, man! I did fine the night before driving from picking up the hood to the woman's house, 70mph on the highway. Made it 3 miles down the highway the next morning and the hood and rack came off the roof! So I now have a brand new, never painted or installed piece of genuine VW scrap metal hanging on the wall in the garage as a conversation piece. The next hood rode a much shorter distance strapped the firmly attached roofrack on my friend's B6 Passat wagon.

Completed the timing belt/waterpump job...had to shut it down last weekend when I ran out of light. So Wolfsie sat for a week collecting dust/a spider & web in the drivers door panel /pollen/rain muck...what a week does to a car
Thanks Dan for your input and DIY!
Went with the old tensioner style instead of using the thermo again and all is good.
I added pics of how I timed her from the OE marks instead after trying to add my own. There were marks on the crank and intermediate pulley before I added mine and they were off bad.
I used the small O on the trans/bell housing for the crankshaft and left it backed off a bit before I put the belt on...this helped with any slippage.
    Oh...then I washed her

Made a new Crown Royal shift boot. The old one was starting to get ragged, and I was plying around with it in traffic and came up with this idea, so i got my hands on another one, and here it is:

washed it, drove it, got in it today and heard a weird noise when first backing out the garage...think it was just a rotor/brake pad stuck from all the water....did just fine on the way to work.
