Finally got around to installing all the parts I bought for it within the last two months. :p

RSK coils (not slammed, but low enough for me at the moment), new strut mounts, Raceland upper strut bar, and I adjusted my straight pipe in the back so I could fit an exhaust tip on without it rubbing against the bumper. She feels like a different car now!

I used the black box on my B7 Passat. Stuff works pretty damn well and seems to last a good long time. Highly recommend it for black cars.

It has a pre wax cleaner, wax, and detail spray, all black, in the box.

Drove it in the Woodward Dream Cruise. Surprisingly, got quite a few positive comments on the car despite the rare, beautiful, and/or insanely powerful cars that were there.

If you've never been, I suggest you go next year. You can't call yourself a car guy until you've been to Woodward.

Took it out of the garage for a few pics, then back in the garage were it sits 90% of the year.

Oh yea, added Euro rad support, Borbets, and falken track tires this weekend

Autocrossed with the Porsche club. I think I had the lowest HP car in attendance and managed a time of 76 seconds. Would have gotten 74 if I didn't understeer into a cone. The track-prepped Porsche's, BMW's and Miatas were hitting low 60's, down to 54 seconds.

Not bad, considering that 2 MK4's (VR and 1.8T) were in the high 60's to low 70's on sticky tires and good suspension setups.

76 seconds slammed on racelands with a stock 2.0 and all-seasons? I'll take that.

Raised the racelands in the front, installed a cup kit in the back.

The to do list just keeps getting longer the more I check off. Weird, innit?
    -alignment
    -window regulator + motor
    -e brake cables

    Lesser priority is:
    -order cx racing coils
    -reupholster headliner (****ing monsoon)
    -patch rust on quarter panel
    -new fender and hood
    -PAINT

Hopefully most of that will be crossed off before H20.

After only driving 13 miles in the past almost two weeks, I finally had to run an errand that involved using the Interstate. Rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd twice. Really wish I had a VR.
We need a series like this state-side. I'm in if there is one, or will be one. VW Cup 2013, anyone?

Cracked my brand-new LIP trying to get out of father-in-laws crazy driveway. PISSED!!!

She keeps tellin me you should sell that POS everyday. And then I consider the alternative. A quiet, boring, lil eco box. And then when im on the on ramp to the highway I punch it and wind out 3rd gear and hear that intake and the exhaust together in perfect harmony as it rips a humongous hole in the ozone layer and causes the spontaneous explosions of tree huggers faces . I my VR6!!!

Got the driver's side windows down! This is an accomplishment as the battery cables were missing when it was given to me and the engine is currently pulled.

Man, that alarm system is ANNOYING when then engine and battery are both missing...
