You will EASILY make 325 wheel.

      I ran a 50 trim .48a/r and made 330 on 440s with a custom tune at 23psi.

With everything maxed, you could hit 350-375.

      Good luck.

Pony up extra money for software other then Revo. You'll be very happy you did.

If you have to, skip the tubular manifold and use it towards software. All the hardware in the world won't make your car fast and fun to drive if the tune is bad.

Are you doing anything with the internals? Do you have any concerns there?

yea i would at least look at I.E. rods or some type of rods because i ran a super60 and throw a rod in 2nd gear at 19

x2... i posted a reply to you in the 1.8t forum.. lol anyways. For how much IE rods are, and you are able to use stock pistons, dont chance throwing a rod.

As far as future mods i plan on doing a diff sometime soon as well as coils and a big brake kit hopefully before this winter then if i can save up enough money hopefully i can get the internals done over next winter as my next big project

Also thinking about getting these wheels http://raderwerks.com/wheels_d...ge=1#

What do you guys/girls think of these wheels?

how much cash did you drop on that stuff?

i love vdubs but it kills me how much money it takes to make them go fast...

I survived the great vB transition of 2010....

Not a fan, the matte black just wouldn't go well with BMP.

You can put all of those mods off until next winter, upgrade your internals now.

I tried to convince myself I could go without them, keep the boost down, keep my foot out of it all the time . . . yeah right. I didn't spend the last 3 months and untold amounts of money on making my car faster to be "conservative". I want to BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF IT every time I get in the car. I want to be able to drive with my eyes on the road and bitr glued to my A/F and Boost gauges.

Oh so you DID put rods in Ja? Hmmm...so looks like you and kleck should be fun indeed.

Here we go ball bearing here we go *stomp stomp*...

I am still deciding weather or not to do internals on the car this winter but i was also thinking water/meth would also be very helpfull to the setup. I am wondering though if it will make any difference from having it on a smic or a fmic

If you are debating between the two, internals for sure. Like I said, sleep at night and put your foot to the floor with faith you won't grenade the block because of the rods. Then put the W/M on and try for more power. Money spent now on rods will allow more money on go fast parts down the road, instead of a headache and a nice bill for a tall block.

SAV, I am going to do the rods, I need to order them, but they should go in here shortly. With my minimal charge piping, short serp setup, and lighter weight, I think it will be a battle for the ages as long as both cars are running well. I am sure there will be a resulting SAGA . . .

when me and sav first started talking at H20, I was going to hold off doing rods... then, like you said... it would be stupid not to give yourself the extra insurance of rods, to be able to drive it like it was built to be driven.

I guess if you drive like brian you could do a 35R setup without rods and be ok...
