I need some input, this car was brought in for a scan. Buyer seems to think something is wrong with tranny and seller doesn't think so. I can't find anything on the wiki, and obviously it has some comm problems. Would like to have some input/info on this scan. As you can see I posted the complete scan for your viewing pleasure.

just at a quick glance - it seems that the can bus or data bus whatever you perfer is losing communication with the below modules - my suggestion is view the gateway installation list - then clear all dtc's - reset the readiness codes - drive it and see it any or all come back - at somepoint the battery may have been disconnected - if you want more detail rsvp

I agree with you about all of that. The car seems to lurch when going from "R" to "D", like it doesn't realize that it's in "D" after backing, then it seems fine. At least for the little I've moved it in the parking lot. My suggestion to the seller(an auction) and the buyer(a dealer) is to take it to a VW dealer and see what they diagnose. But, I could clear the codes and see what comes back.

sounds good - must stress one point - when you clear the dtc's adapt the throttle body and the trans kick down - that could explain the erradic behavior in accel and shift changes
