I need to do the same bad, even the radiating heat from my muffler has started to melt the black part of my rear bumper.

Anyways update of sorts coming this weekend.I might install my nice new harness(all sleeved and shorten),bought a new maf(mine is 94),Doing a dual slim fan set up base around a mk3 shroud,have to put new rear mounts in....So nothing really exciting

You could get your axles/CV's heat treated and hardened. I assume you are twisting the joints near the splines? You could also get axles made from a higher strength material, like from the Drive Shaft Shop (DSS).

Breaking the cages at the hubs.I'm looking into aftermarket axles.I drive this car hard everyday.I usually do an axle joint bout every 4 months

Also installed my new harness.Which is plagued with 2 awesome problems No start for about 10 cranks and it dies after flooring it to redline and wont restart till i stop and repeat problem 1.....
Also left my DVOM and stock harness at work....which is locked till monday.........

Also since i installed my new maf i have quite a bit more fuel up top(hello more boost!!!)



And had a blow at 85 without crashing or loosing control(someone is watching over me)

So i pulled the IC pipes and valve cover to clean all the welds up.

Well i was playing with the boost last week.....settled on 25psi and that last for about 4 days and then clutch slip came in New custom made clutch is ordered from Tampa clutch supply. 2100lbs pressure plate and reinforced 4 puck sprung disc is coming in tomorrow.
I'll get pics when its here and should be installing it saturday.

Also the Powersteering rack is leaking now. But i'm adding once every couple weeks so i'll wait on that

The list of stuff is getting smalller.I need paint and body work still but that wont be till next tax return season.

I gotta start looking at rings soon so the jetta might not be getting that new motor and turbo for abit

Had to do an alignment after that. Car feels good now. That rack was tight for about the first 20 miles. So far no leaks. And the clutch is heavy but holds

So far nothing new. Having a son of a beotch time finding a 7/16-20 left hand bolt for my VWMS rear beam project. I installed the ISV a few weeks ago,this time with a check valve as to not bleed off boost. Also about 4 days after installing the clutch i had to removed the wilwood clutch pedal and make a huge steel reinforcement piece since it was going through the firewall. Tomorrow little project is to find where all the sweet engine fumes are getting in the car
