Big thanks to Jeffrah for opening his house yesterday and spending the ENTIRE day helping me swap over my air management. I have the strobes there and wanted to try out my new wireless transmitters and new lens. Results:

Weird question. Yall probably have the answer. So I was lurking the tlc forums and I saw an old audi (80's I think) it had huge fender flares and a big wing on the back, also a hatchback. Heard it was an "Audi Quattro" but when I look that up on the internet it doesnt seem to have the flares are large and as big of a wing. Any ideas?

    Yeah good luck with that.

Realize that that model of Audi UR Quattro you refer to didn't come to the states, are super rare, and more than likely would involve the selling of both your kidneys and left nut, and that still wouldn't cover the cost of trying to attain one. Even the NA spec models are super rare as not even 700 examples made it over here for the 3 year period they were imported.

Still hawt though...but finding parts would also be a beyotch.

There are 2 different models pictured above. The white one is a euro URQ like you said but the red one is a Audi Sport Quattro. It never came to the state, but there are a handful of them(3 in oregon alone) that have made it over here. You can hope for a stateside collector to get rid of one but don't hold your breath. The last one I saw up for sale saw went for over $100k. You can pick up a nice NA spec URQ for $16k-$25k.

FWIW the yellow/white/black Audi above is a S1.

Yea I did some research last night about the Ur Quattro. It was 243 or 283 that made it to the states, 11,000 were fully produced worldwide. I think this car is awesome, the ones I saw for sale on the internet the past couple years (through old posts coming up on google) ranged 13-20k. That is so expensive, but I need to have one one day. The scirocco 20v from the late 80's early 90's might be my only option for a while

All thought my best friend did get the Audi 90 quattro and he loves it. Says the quattro system is amazing.

Good luck finding a factory 20v Scirocco from the early 90s in the US.

I think you better do your homework before you know what you're buying!

While you're at it, put that Corrado Wagon on your want list!

Nothing is special about a 100 wagon. I just have always like gti's growing up. Always wanted and had them. Now that I have a jetta I don't like it. Maybe it's not fast enough, maybe the feel of how it steers, I don't know it's just not the same. So now I don't have that feel good feeling when I drive my car. I need 4 doors though and the gti's cant do that for me (for what I can afford) looking at audi wagons.

I'm just dreaming. I love hatches, wagons 2nd choice because they offer the doors I need having a baby on the way. Right now I drive a jetta...

The Audi 100 avant came with a 2.8 V6 and isn't exactly fast. You'd be lucky to find a 5 speed and a 5 speed wagon at that.

^^ Yea I've seen that. The awd part is cool though. It's just a car I found when looking around at different wagons, and hatches.

Maybe I need to put these parts into my jetta once in for all to make the thing a little more enjoyable. An swap my wheels for something else.

If you want a wagon with awd, look for a 1995-1995.5 S6 avant. Has a awesome awd system and with minimal mods you'll be close to 300hp.

Naw I can't get a new car right now... I wish I could, 1-2 more years I need to refrain myself from getting one. So I am thinking I need to throw some c2 software and an exhaust in my car. Then buy a newer audi wagon.

Why bother? If you don't even like the car, why waste your money? The less you spend on the Jetta, the sooner you can get a new car.

And don't waste your money with chipping a 2 liter. I did it to my old Golf because I got the chip dirt cheap, but it really didn't do anything noticeable.

Because there is no reality of me getting a car anytime soon with a baby on the way. The 2.0 with a c2 chip drove decent, that and put an exhaust on it. I already have a t3/t4 stg2 laying in the garage. Might as well do some research and get that thing in next year or so.

I guess going from my R to gli to this I just don't find the satisfaction in the performance and ride quality in my cars since.
