$1.52/liter here in South Western Ontario... For you Americans, that's $5.88 for a U.S. gallon of 91 octane at 3.87 liters/US gal. Damned expensive... But I love my car, so I keep doing it.

Washington has one of the higher gas prices in the US. It won't keep me from putting supreme in my 20th. That's why I have a POS 94 Jetta with a fart can that I can put cheap gas in for commuting.

Yeah everyone here in utah complains about gas when it's at $3.60 a gallon. I paid that back in high school 5 years ago in SoCal.

Some parts of the country are better than others, Whether or not one can handle buying gas, it does not negate the fact that gasoline prices are ridiculous and if we still want to drive our cars, we are slaves to the pump. And sometimes the pump does not use lube...if ya know what I mean.

At the BJ's in Crossroads Gasbuddy is showing it as $4.12 there still.

Also, everyone don't forget to keep up with maintenance. I got my car with 112k on it in Sept. Its now coming up on 119k. Decided to do the fuel filter since I had no records...it was original Lots of nasty stuff came out of it. Hoping it helps get me another mpg or two!

If you don't punch it every time this certainly makes a difference, keep the tach between 2-3k and this should give piece of mind when you find yourself in a period where a calm drive may suit you.

In ATL I fill up my GLI for about $50.00. I do use premium because I want my engine to last, my goal is to hit 200k with this engine. I hit 225k before my b5 A4 1.8t got totaled.

Prices continue to drop...brand new Sheetz opened up 2 miles from the house and got 93 for $3.87. Cheapest around.

Prices are definitely going down here. Between fillups it dropped from 4.22$ to 4.04$. Except at Sunoco who missed the memo and dropped the price of regular gas and raised everything else. They had premium at 4.37$ the other day when I pulled in to get gas, they're usually the cheapest near me.

you gotta hit up the esso station. I think we have 98-112 octane here although the higher one is harder to come by

I am not chipped, but I've run 87-91 interchangibly for 8 years/59000 miles now with no engine or mechanical problems except for an engine temp sensor that went bad at 50k. Basically if you have to run on a lower quality gas it's not going to be the end of the world on factory software. You chipped guys though I've heard can go into limp mode with the wrong octane.
