20 yr anniversary today. I love my Momma.

Finally fixed my pole so i now have lights. Feels great to get back to normal....except for the gas issue. Not happy that i'm forced to use 87 oct. so i ain't going nowhere till i get some 93 oct.

I hate you diesel guys right now...

We have a huge donation been going on at work for Long Island Cares which is in the Hauppauge Industrial Park. I can get a list from my HR department if we wanted to drive to the facility and drop off directly at there facility?

I've been seeing a lot of guys with their nice VWs driving around the past week. Am I the only one who can't find 93 octane fuel anywhere, or do people put regular in their cars?

My MK4 has been parked for 2 weeks, and the JSW has been sitting in the garage with a full tank of diesel for when things really get ugly

I reverted to my stock tune and have been driving so obnoxiously conservative with 87...its really kind of nerve racking but I filled my tank when I had 1/2 93 in it so I'm thinking I'm driving around with like 90 ish octane hahahaha

Just don't go into boost and you should be fine but ur gonna get worse gas mileage absolutely

So Monday I am taking the jetta into Donaldsons to get my manifold cleaned. Should have the car back by Wednesday to go to the livc thing. I will be going no matter what but hope to have the jetta back by then.

Central Islip BP Motor Hwy exit 55 there's a few gulfs with 93 along with some BPs


I just recently moved out to central islip from, the city... is there any euro orientated mechanic around my way they can recommend?

Force fed engineering would be closest to you but I prefer elite motorsports in bellport.

i put 87 in and bought octane booster. needless to say, dont do this. the car hates it. wont even boost past 19 on stage 2 tune
