Maybe a few grand worth of parts... say, enough to get a D700?

Back from a 2 1/2 week BEAUTIFUL vacation Went to visit my sis-in-law's in PR and my parents in St. Criox. LONG friggin' flight and i'm tired.

FTW, it sucks to see our forum not being used by the head chapter. There were only a very few sites i could jump on while i was away and i rarely see anybody from NY post. The new chapter guys are posting like mad. The forum is thriving...start getting to know your chapter mates.

Guys, please remember EEM "TFT" cruise is on Dec. 5th (Mark your calendars) and all you need to bring is either a girls or boys toy "UNWRAPPED" for the drop off box.

we are looking foward to this year, pat found a great place for the location on where we are going!
Decals will be completed over this upcoming weekend.

Anyone who would like to help me with some CandyCanes with an EEM twist, send me a PM

If anyone is interested I'm selling a full set of R32 pedals including dead pedal. I have them listed for $180 shipped but if anyone here wants them I'll let them go for $125.

well the little bit of time i have when i was not working, studying or drunk

i was playing softball, i slide into home and my cleat caught the plate
I dislocated my ankle outwards, so my foot was sticking outwards, i grabbed it back and snapped it back in, I really wasnt thinking I was in shock and saw it and didnt know what to do so I heard just crunch crunch crunch, than i proceeded to yell and scream for 3 minutes in shock, but ambulance came and got me, but ill be back home tomorrow my dads coming to get me since i wont be able to drive for awhile, and should be having surgery sometime this week, but now this just has me thinking, and I am going to put up the car for sale

I really want to get into a mk4 gti, preferably a 20th because I have some cash saved up but we all have dreams, first step is selling it, not sure if its easier to sell it on vortex with the coils or take them off and try my luck on craigslist, but ill rather see someone take this car and do the things I would love to do, but my heart just lives for mk4, sorry tattoo john i know the thought of someones heart loving a mk4 kills you lol

but since i wont be working anytime soon, i can finally sit on the forums like the good old days

I was there 3 years ago man. I made like so many of the posts i have now within that time

Hopefully your healing process/physical therapy is shorter and goes way better than mine did. It was such a nightmare for me and i still don't have full range of motion back and if the weather's bad or i step wrong it will still get sore and stiff for a few hours

Just a little teaser of an upcoming feature

Also I'm proud to report that my winter wheel snafu seems to be all fixed up... I got fed up w/ trying to strip them so just scraped, sanded and wire wheeled all the loose stuff off and thought I'd try some high build primer to even things out, that didn't work as expected and still looked like a55 after 4 or 5 coats of paint on top of the 3 or 4 coats of primer, so on to plan B... textured paint I used a cream colored "sand" finish which I hoped would disguise most of the imperfections from the failed stripping attempt, it worked pretty well and I finished it off with a couple heavy coats of paint on top to get a uniform color (since the stone paint had specks of white/tan/brown). They're drying now and I'm hoping to get the tires mounted on Friday and get the winter set up on the car by the weekend (if I can find the bolts for my spacers).
