If my friends flake out on me tonight for dinner Ill swing up for a few.

Back in the day we used to skate that hill all the time on long boards. They put that soap box derby track in on the other side and it is wicked smooth. I think I tool Kevin up there one day !!! Hella fun!

I feel for you Shawn... I read meters for 4+ years and we'd be out there even when the mailmen were being held inside (yea, their old addage about neither snow nor rain yada yada yada really doesn't apply much, that's more like the meter readers motto). In this weather it's useless trying to stay dry b/c you'll get wet regardless, then if you have a raincoat/poncho on you'll just start sweating from the lack of ventilation so it's a lose-lose situation I do not miss those days at all, the one good thing is it's not cold out, nothing worse than winter rain.

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...&type=1&ref=nf

It's the shot of the horse driving the Jetta from last week's gtg and it's up for photo of the week on the Klutch page, so go help a fellow EEM member out and like the pic feel free to share it also, just make sure everyone clicks the actual pic and likes the pic not the status update

you guys without Facebook are killing me for those that have "liked" the pic I thank you

John, Klutch: http://www.klutchrepublik.com/ it's a web blog that also runs a Flickr group and Facebook page (like all of those web blogs), they run a weekly photo contest with pics that were submitted to their Flickr pool.

On a related note, another FB page called Just Stance is running the pic and it has gotten some funny (in a lame way) comments. I forgot that the internet is serious business and all car shots are too, I guess the horse mask wasn't clue enough for everyone to take things with a gran of salt... it's gotten comments from "low fail, offset fail", to "this car is horse ****", and "high rider".... it's amusing to say the least, I'm not even gonna let them know about the super slick show car finish the paint has on it, that would just blow their minds

oh god, im glad i dont have a facebook anymore to see that crap. its people like that who make me be unsocial in a car "scene". Half of those kids are still paying off their cars and take out loans from their grandparents to pay for "air ride", probably lying to their parents saying they need it.

i cant even start to rant about this crap, hell 5 years ago when we were meeting up in the parkinglot of the source mall or island 16 on monday nights nobody even heard of "stance" or "bags". I remember talking to people about what duration my cam was and what brand of header i was using. Now all i see and hear is "oh how much did that setup cost?" and "are those REPS?!"

Jon, all i have to say is HXCVR6.

    end rant that went nowhere.

Wow what a throwback. Look at that screen name. I heard that guy gave up volkswagens and hangs out with this sketchy mini crew. He was much cooler when he had a mkv. That is all I have to say. Haha.
