Perhaps, when you learn to write in your mother language, we will let you know about the new location.

No. But I'm an experienced Photographer.
If he/she stuck with a Nikon - I can potentionally help them learn the camera a lot faster than they would have on their own.
Or help them with the basics of photography - and editing programs.

well, if that's the case, I definitely need to get your assistance with mine when you come down. I am definitely looking to sharpen my knowledge of this oh-so-wonderful camera. When do you come down by the way?

I shelled out (ugh shelled out...) 800+ dollars (thats all you guys need to know! its in the 800 range! <3 Overtime @ work )
Its a Canon XTI (I asked my photography teacher who also helps her husband run a photography stuido what she would recommend for someone of my calibur...and she originally said "Get the XSI!" and then I guess she remembered im not rich...lol)
It comes with a little kit. 2 Canon lenses the standard issue lens and then a 75-300, a wide angle lens and some other stuff
Uh now for the rest of the interigation... I took 1 year of photography with a 35mm KonicaMinolta with I still have and love but am disgusted with the cost of film and developing. And Richards dad has this awesome Minolta from the late 60s or so which we have played with before.
Im sure I can figure out a digi SLR. One of my buddies from school has the same camera and Im sure she could help me out if I needed it.

Yeah, I need to get my hands on a Canon eventually.
I still have my original Minolta 35mm too. LOL. I loved that camera to pieces. I use to skip classes and be in the dark room sleeping + alarm on phone to wake up and process film. That was living the dream. Wish I could do that for a job.. Jeez how easy that'd be!
I'm sadly to say- been strictly a Nikon kind of gal. But I really do want to venture into both sides of the competive world. One day. ..
I have to wait until I get to NOB just to send my Nikon D -crappy off to get cleaned. I can give you many reason why not to change a lens at car shows. Because even when you think you're good, following procedure - you're drunken friend comes up behinds you and hits your arm while changing a lens.. And before you know it - you're pissed off because you've got dust and dirt in your sensor out the ying yang. I haven't shot anything for almost two months because of it.

Probably my last REAL good photoshoot.

^wow. just realized that my GIMP didn't transfer my last name onto that picture.
something more to fix when I get home.

hahaha yea that darn dust. I was reading about dust and how the XTI has a "self cleaning vibration" that is supposed to help get some of the dust off...but eventually you will come across a dust spec that just doesn't want to go home. I can't wait for this thing to get here...im excited.
and BIZZLE?! Where did you come from! with your evil plan....

im gonna go to autozone and see if they can tell me what it is
p0411, gonna guess the problem is that pipe we messed with at AMC last night, just gonna make sure all the hoses are secured and see if its fixed, if not at least i know where it is.

John H. has one. He's really cool, probably wouldn't mind helping a brother out

well, i used an obd2 at autozone and it seems to have given me the same code a vag-com would have from what i can gather, and its a secondary air injection problem, so im going to guess its from that hose that we cut off the end of last night, gonna go mess with it right now to see if i can sort it out

22. 08-07-2008 08:19 PM #1372
success! my dads days as an AudiVW mechanic at Casey paid off, he had the vacuum hoses laying around in the toolbox after searching for a while, it turns out the culprit wasnt the hose we had sliced last night, but was in fact a tiny vacuum hose under my fuel rail.
