Anyone 6'+ using them? I hear they raise the seat up pretty high. Where is the best place to buy them?

    Smooth,

I bought two of the swivel seat bases that have the safe in them...i.e. it isn't the adapter you add to your existing seat. I have an 02 GLS. After installing the one on the passenger side, just used it as it was and never got around to installing the drivers side. We just didn't ever seem to think we needed it. The vendor claims this version doesn't raise the seat height, although it does seem like it is up a tiny bit. I'm 6'4" so I'm pretty close to the ceiling as it is.

I don't mean to pirate this by trying to sell my own stuff, but I still have the second one figuring I'd sell it one day. I think they list for $260, but I would sell my for $200 plus shipping (they are compact, but heavy). Mine would fit a 96 through 03. If you want to buy from a commercial source, check out SKL Enterprises

PM me if you are interested.

I appreciate the info and the offer. Don't think I will need a safe though.

"EuroVan Swivel Seat Adapter. Fits '96 to 2003 model years. BLACK Includes hardware.
For Passenger or Drivers Seat.** Raises seat height 1 inch Uses stock seat belt buckle."

The one with the safe does not raise the seat at all.

I am also looking for a swivel base, but it needs to fit a 1993 van. Please let me know where the best place is to buy one.

    Thank you
