    UPDATE: Time Slips Pg. 3
    UPDATE: Some Vids Pg. 4

March 8th was a very very rainy day on LI, NY, and what was once a pretty much stock R32 was hydrolocked during that heavy rainstorm... here is a pic of the after math.

Though like the title says, as one door closes, another one soon opens.

The block was ripped apart to find #1 conn. rod bent horribly and a minor scuff on the cylinder wall. Block was sent to the machine shop, bored to 85mm and honed, polished the crank, and rebuilt with forged 8.0:1 comp. Wossner Turbo pistons, Wossner forged rods, arp main studs, and rod bolts. Got the engine back, reassembled the longblock along with some reaceware headstuds. Add a PT67, pagparts ehxaust manifold, tial 38mm wg, custom downpipe, wastegate dump tube, 3"ic piping all the way through, 4" inlet, (all custom made by my buddy Ed down at Forcefed Engineering), Precision 750 core, HPA SRI, Tial 50mm bov, 630cc injectors, and Unitronic 630cc R32T software. All power is being put down with fidanza lwfw and southbend 6 puck clutch. Exhaust is 3" all the way back to borla muffler with 4" tips, sounds quieter than stock, but then the wastegate opens up n it sounds like a mack truck on crack lol.

Finally after almost 2months the car is done and running strong, pulls hard for only 10psi, and the open wastegate sounds amazing and scares plenty of people The car should make over 500awhp on pump when i'm done doing some tweaking here n there n get the file updated, then when i have some money again i plan to run an 870cc file n a set of 870cc injectors, should make 600awhp on pump, we'll see what happens n how it goes. Hopefully my drivetrain can hold up with the extra power.

    Now for some pics...

Don't mind ghettoness of some of the things in the engine bay, i juat wanted to get the car running n driving around first, now just gotta make some times to clean that stuff up n clean her up. The plate is an inside joke with friends, after i hydrolocked the car they started calling me waterboy, so i said hey y not. still have to eventually get some coils and front n rear diffs, but for now i can live without them. Well thats it for now, everyone enjoy, n let me know what you guys think.

Much thanks to all my friends for all the help n putting up with me n giving me rides, and Ed, Joe, Chris, and Brian down at Forcefed Engineering for all the help, and Kevin Black, Lugnuts Tuning for all his help. to all.

    Looks amazing!

Did you have to do any Haldex upgrades?

Since you are running the original ECU, is there no need for a haldex standalone system?

    Thanks

nope, no haldex standalone, didn't do any upgrades to the haldex yet, gotta pay some bills first, then get a haldex controller, suspension, diffs, and few other things.

    nice dude...helluva upgrade.

BTW that bent con-rod picture is awesome. It really shows the power of something as simple as water.

You should make one of those "inspirational" message posters with it.

thanks to all for the comments, but this story just took a turn towards nightmare , due to excessive heat from the wastegate dump my o2 sensor portion of the cars harness melted, and there is a possibility that the ecu shorted out, so now i have to find out for sure if it is indeed bad, n replace it, and get myself a new harness
then when all that is said n done i have to see if i can get the dumptube routed further down so its not shooting the exhaust to that area, or have it routed into the downpipe. ugh, just when i was enjoying the car and everything was going well, this happens. i'll keep you all updated, and if anyone has an ecu and/or harness for sale plz pm me n lmk. to everyone.

I think Finn at Streetwerke had an ECU for sale not too long ago.

FWIW, I believe he means reroute it back into the exhaust, not just away from the wiring.

A *lot* of folks 'round here thought the open dump would sound cool. Then they got one, and it soured in about a week.

re-route the dump and make a muffler bypass for exhaust to be more audible, you'll be much happier with a sweet sounding R
