Import meets in the Phoenix area....are there any?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any recurring "meets" in the Phoenix area, preferably west valley?

When I lived in Florida, every Thursday night in Gainesville in a parking lot just off I-75 and Archer Rd (or at the parking garage down the street depending on how many cops were giving us a hard time) hundreds of people would meet at 10pm. No one knew one another, it was just a word of mouth thing, and you saw different cars and different faces every week. A lot of people drove across the state to go to it. We saw a couple R33's there a few times, other than that there were RX7's, a lot of Supras, Evos, ...everything.

The whole point was basically to look at everyones car, listen to music, have a good time, and occasionally people raced when someone felt someone else needed to be put in their place. I have no clue who organized it, or if it even still goes on there, but it was a lot of fun, and I really miss that part of my life. It was basically like a mini car show every week, and I saw a lot of fast cars going there every week with my friends.

Just wondering if anyone knows of anything like this out here? Id like to start going if there is something, assuming theres actually respectful (not disrespectful) people there, who are knowledgeable and arent complete retards when it comes to modding cars.

every saturday night east side of town Indian Bend and the 101 just inside the 101. its called the Pavillions or the PAVS. you'll see threads, no racing or music from cars, but it brings everything from Model T's to mini trucks, bikes, imports and domestics.

it usually starts around 4pm and goes till about 10 with more of the import cars coming in around 7-8pm and the older cars and muscle cars are earlier.

Blah. I work Thursday-Monday from 3-11pm. I hate my work schedule and its based on seniority. Im the lowest in seniority on my shift, so the chances of getting anything but Tuesday or wednesday off are slim to none. Cant even catch anything good at Speedworld, because everything is on a Saturday night. Does anyone know Speedworlds schedule? Are they open to the public on either Tuesday or Wednesday?

theres the occasional meet at best buy on 83rd and bell as well

Do you know what days the best buy one usually goes on? Or does it vary?

^Really....ill have to go check that out. Where is it exactly? Im not sure whats in that area...I know theres a movie theater, and a Best buy somewhere around there. Im assuming its in the Best Buy parking lot?

the best buy is more for bmw i went to the last 1 and there were only 3 vag cars the rest were bmw

dude what car are you riding? you should ride with us sometimes i have a 92 corrado slc vr6 there is a lot of dramma so just take your car and show it off and chill sometimes its pretty cool bu the majority is crazy it looks exactly like the first "fast and the furious" movie late at night evryone splits cops come and its crazy!!! but there are a lot of dumbassess that screw it and they attract the cops, cops are ussualy very cool they acctually want to kick back and chill but sometimes there are idiots and act all hard!!!!!! but hey ive only been there once............and i did not have a car

Wednesdays - 8pm 99th and mcdowell infront of Starbucks/tmobile (Vw Meet)

Friday - 10pm 43rd and camelback in the homedepot parking lot(Import meet) Mainly hondas

Saturday - Around 6 to 7 pm starting is out on the 101 and indian bend youll see alll types of cars

Sunday - Tempe has an extremebean meet up

Also on saturdays there use to be a meet up at the teme market place but idk anymore
