how can you disable a jetta drl...day light running lights

Probably need a Euro switch if they make one. Was 05 the new body style? I noticed that, unlike some cars, the lights seems to be the same brightness on DRL as when on. At least on my 2002.

If it is a Mk5 then you need to disable DRL with VagCom. Euro switch will only allow the use of parking lights (front and rear) as running lights after DRLs are disabled.
Supposed to be 77käfer, but there are no umlauts on an american keyboard

Overheard on 27 June 07, one lady to another when they saw my Harli in a parking lot at West Point, "maybe he found it on the clearance aisle at the Volkswagen dealer"

ive only been in a mk5 once, but if its the same as a mk4, turn the headlight switch all the way to the left, push in, and push back to the right, itll come out. then take the harness of and youll see the metal tabs with lettering. take a key and push down the one that says TFL. then put it back in. rinse lather repeat

It is not the same as a mk4, that is why you have to use a VAGCOM.

Owning a MKV and having turned off my DRL's you need Vag-Com.
