I think we're looking at the body style (especially the flared fenders) of the upcoming TT-R. I wouldn't be surprised if the fascia and tail end are modified even more for production. Another clue is the conspicuous absence of fog lights to allow for better airflow to the engine(?). The clubsport Q reminds me of what the shooting brake concept was to the regular production TT.
Now we can only hope the engine they choose for the TT-R is commensurate with the aggressive styling and requisites for quickness, posting numbers impressive enough to justify the cost of ownership.
Personally I'm considering trading my 3.2 Q S-Line for a TT-S when it comes stateside, but that may change if the TT-R, when released, is really amazing.
Anyone thinking the same?
