Cheat on my clean diet and ate a double deluxe burger from Culver's on my lunch break today, and washed it down with a Coke Zero.

I (and my stomach) asking my stomach why the hell I ate that.

Went to El Pollo Loco: two-piece white meat, corn tortillas, cole slaw and mashed potatoes.

The cole slaw and mashed are unusual for me -- it's normally rice & pintos -- but sometimes I need to change it up some.

Many rosemary/parmesan-crusted chicken strips from last night (a Rachael Ray recipe... I can't stand her, but this recipe is f-ing great), baby carrots and grape tomatoes with homeade low-fat ranch dip (Hidden Valley packet with low-fat yogurt and sour cream).

The breading makes a ton, so you can freeze it and save it for the next time you make them. I've never made the supplemental tomato sauce, I like them as they are. They are great cold the next day (and every subsequent day until they're gone). My nephews love them and request them when they come over.

    ^ Thanks!

At my kids new school during one of their many festivals I had 3 "home made" chicken tostadas with refried beans, lettuce, sour cream, guac, and Tapatio...excellent...

I ate the rest of the above-mentioned chicken tenders with some leftover broccoli and a tomato salad.

I'm considering using that breading on other things... it's so good I crave it and other breadings are a letdown.

I had a bowl of Texas Pride chili at Chili My Soul in Encino, CA.

The chili tasted ok, but the price was outrageous. $12.95 for a shallow bowl, including a piece of cornbread and some toppings.

$12.95 ($16.45 with drink and tax), and I was done before I started. I'm not satisfied.

Leftovers from last night: London Broil, twice-baked potato; roasted asparagus with olive oil and lemon. Yummy.

After watching too many episodes of The Deadliest Catch, I needed to satisfy the craving and had some king crab legs (from Costco). I feel so dirty.
