Butterball turkey breast on a deli roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato. Also had 2 servings of tasty 7-layer salad and iced tea.

This Butterball Lemon Pepper Turkey is the best deli turkey I've ever eated, imo. I might have some for dinner tonight too.

Semi-Greek salad plus hummus, dolmas and spinach pie. Still no tomatoes served and where TF were the Greek olives?!

Still good, but it wasn't the ultimate.

I'm gonna have a ham steak sammich with lots of Coleman's, some leftover watermelon & cucumber salad, lemonadde or iced tea.

(I'll admit the watermelon & cucumber salad sounds odd, but it's got this cayenne-vinegar dressing on it that's really good.)

went to hardees (carl's jr. for you west coast folks) and had a grilled sourdough thickburger.

it was awesome-a greasy, juicy burger-one of life's guilty pleasures.

the nuritional information were scary though, total calories: 1030, sodium: 1910 mg.

1/2 a PB & J (crunchy with blackberry) on whole grain, chicken noodle soup and a nectarine. Boring, but trying to eat cheaper and healthier.

Two slices of Costco's pizza (1 pepperoni, 1 combo) and a drink.

I gotta say without reservation Costco pizza by the slice is some of the best pizza out there (it's certainly a lot better than it needs to be), and the price makes it an unbeatable value.

my lunches suck compared to some of the ones i see here!

today was a low sodium chicken and mini noodles soup at hand, ham and lactose free american cheese on "double fiber"(women eh!) bread, activia yogurt and a water.

      damn weight watchers!!

I wish. I don't think there is a single Cuban restaurant in this hole that is Sacramento.

I was in SoCal on vacation and went to the one in Glendale twice.

      Thought not. Oh well.

      2x? Nice!

There's a few in the Bay Area, let me know if you ever head out here.

So far the best Cuban sandwiches, if you have the time, and IMO, are home made. We always make a batch the night before we go to Giants games and bring an extra one for whatever seat-neighbor keeps watching us going: "What is that? It looks amazing...where'd you get it?" etc...they travel well, too.
